As part of the Reebok revival, the sneaker giants have released 3 ranges based on the works of their favourite artists. Here at SevenEightyEight we were already big fans of Jean-Michel Basquiat, so the news that he was one of the chosen artists went down particularly well.

This performance from early UK hip hop act the Kaliphz comes from Channel 4’s The Word circa 1995.

There are some pretty fresh outfits on view, not to mention the crazy set and backdrop. However, down at SevenEightyEight HQ we were particularly nostalgic about the VHS quality of the footage and the Man Utd away kit being fashioned by one particular member of the invading crowd.

Onitsuka with the help of Dutch ad agency ‘Amsterdam Worldwide’ (formerly Strawberry Frog) have put together another ridiculously stunning display to mark the Japanese footwear brand’s 60th anniversary.

Last year saw an amazing display via the complex and detailed Electric Tiger Land piece. This year, the two brands may not have surpassed last year’s effort but the final outcome is incredible nonetheless.
